Pi Digit Memorization Game Rules and Highlights
Rules
- Since the idea is to compare your best score against others, only your top score is used in scoring.
- In the case of a tie, registered players get ranked up, otherwise ties are decide on date; more recent ranking higher.
- If you have hints turned on your score is reduced by 3 regardless of whether you use the hints - use them!
- 'Speed' isn't used in the rankings.
Highlights
- Registered players are listed in bold in the high scores table.
- New entries into the high scores table are shown in green.
- There is no penalty for using the 'c' key to check your digits vs. waiting to the game to end on it's own.
- With hints turned on, entering an incorrect digit will cause the correct digit to briefly flash on the screen at a random
location. Additionally if you have sound turned on, you'll
get a audible notification of your mistake.
- Get a top 10 score or set a personal best above 100 (... and don't use a lame name like 'Player') and Ada will Tweet about you!
- Registered players are awarded badges for their accomplishments. For example by scoring a personal best above 25 digits you will be awarded a bronze 'PB' badge.
